Kilona Beta Program Terms

Version 1. By requesting beta access you agree to everything below. These terms apply alongside the Kilona Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

1. Volunteer participation

Beta testing is voluntary. Participating does not create an employment, contractor, agency, or partnership relationship with Voxel Marketing LLC, and no compensation, credit, or reward is owed for your time, feedback, or submissions.

2. Beta software

Beta builds are unfinished. They can crash, lose data, drain battery, or behave in ways the released app does not. Projects created or edited with beta features may not open, or may not work correctly, in the App Store version of Kilona. Keep backups of any work you care about and treat beta projects as experiments.

3. Access

Acceptance into the program is at the team's discretion, and access can be paused or revoked at any time, for any reason, without notice. Features shown in the beta may change or be removed and may never ship. Nothing here is a promise of future functionality.

4. Feedback and submissions

Feedback you submit, including notes, screenshots, and attached project files, may be used by the team to improve Kilona without any obligation or payment to you. Screenshots and projects you attach to a report become visible to the Kilona team. Do not include anything in a report you do not want the team to see.

5. Unreleased features

Features marked Coming Soon, Available to Test, or Testing Paused are not public. Please do not post screenshots, recordings, or details of them publicly until they are marked Public. Sharing within the official Kilona community spaces (such as the beta channels of the Discord) is fine and encouraged.

6. TestFlight

Beta builds are delivered through Apple's TestFlight, which has its own terms. The Apple ID email you provide is used to send the TestFlight invite.

7. Changes to these terms

The team may update these terms. When the version number changes, you will be asked to agree again before continuing in the program.
